Most people just call me Coyne. I design systems that help people do their best work, especially when the work is complex, emotional, and scaling faster than anyone expected.
I’m a founding member and former CTO, now the Chief Experience Officer at SERHANT., a modern technology, real estate, media, and education company founded by Ryan Serhant. With a global social audience of more than 10 million people and educational programs sold in 133 countries, SERHANT. has become a living case study in how technology, scale, service, and humanity can coexist. My role is to architect the standards, systems, and experiences that make that possible.
I split my time between New York City and South Florida, bringing an empathetic yet highly practical approach to building at scale. My work spans technology platforms, media production, education, AI-driven services, and national growth strategy. I’ve built internal systems like ADX, helped co-create S.MPLE (an AI-powered Chief-of-Staff–style service for agents) and played a central role in shaping how technology and people work together inside the company. If it’s wired, coded, automated, or quietly influencing how someone feels about their work, I’ve probably had a hand in it.
I’m a storyteller at heart and a frequent speaker, known for blending humor with clarity and making complex ideas feel immediately usable. I’ve delivered keynotes and featured talks for organizations including Google, IBM, Herman Miller, Inman, The Real Deal, Silicon Slopes, CRN, SUNY, SAAREP, and more. Whether I’m on stage, in a classroom, or on a podcast, my goal is the same: leave people clearer and more inspired to think differently than they were when we started.
Over time, the methods and systems I’ve developed (particularly around experience design, leadership, and human-AI collaboration) have attracted academic interest. My work has been formally studied by Columbia University Business School through case research examining how these principles operate at scale inside a modern organization.
Before SERHANT., I ran a tech consultancy since 2007 alongside having founded Explorify 3D in 2013, a technology-driven marketing agency that went from zero to global recognition in under two years. Along the way, the company received acquisition and investment interest (including an offer from Goldman Sachs), consulted for Google’s trade show marketing team, helped put Matterport on the map in New York City, and explored early partnerships in the location-tech space. After exiting the company in 2018, I served as Vice President of a cybersecurity firm through 2020 before joining forces full-time with Ryan Serhant to help build a brokerage designed to change how real estate gets sold.
My belief that technology and infrastructure should make life better, not just faster, extends beyond business. From 2017 to 2018, I served as the youngest member of the New York State Downtown Revitalization Initiative Local Planning Committee, helping guide the allocation of $16 million in grant funding for long-term urban redevelopment. In 2019, I also presented a proposal to reimagine the United States Postal Service as a modern, technology-forward logistics platform, an idea that received formal recognition and bipartisan review from members of both the Senate and the House of Representatives.
Outside of work I’m the father of two incredible kids, a home chef, a former failed comedian turned voice actor, and a longtime member of Summit Series. I’m as comfortable debating high-touch personal service versus efficiency-driven automation as I am testing a recipe to make it twice as good in half the time. I don’t think those worlds are in conflict, I think the magic lives in the blend.
